I was brought up within an engineering family in Wyoming, where our childhood picnics could curiously be at a ranch or plot of land near the middle of nowhere. My dad would soon break out measuring equipment, usually before us younger boys had a chance to finish our lunch, and then disappear through the trees or over the ridge with an older brother or our mother. I had a chance to work for my father’s company during high school and after a short stint of college, where he helped instill within me a great work ethic. I moved to Phoenix in the beginning of 1985 and immediately found a position with a surveying and engineering company. It’s very exciting to be a part of Survey Innovation Group where we have a chance to use our skills and knowledge to help people achieve their land development needs.
